The Black Men from a Black Planet are an improv team based out of Chicago, Illinois. The team features members of various ages and from different parts of the country, each providing their own unique perspective of what it is to be a black man in the world. Like many shows, theirs begins with an audience suggestion and a few brief personal monologues. What makes their form different is that at any point during a scene, team members can swap roles with each other.
